DragCar Eliminator DragCar Eliminator is reserved for full bodied factory production vehicles built or sufficiently modified to be considered competition use vehicles while maintaining an appearance of being capable of street and highway use.
Experimental Production is for production vehicles having significant race readying modifications while keeping with primarily stock chassis and outwardly appearance. Experimental Production (XP)/Experimental Blown (XB)

body, and/or chassis modifications. Experimental

reserved for forced induction factory production vehicles having significant
engine, body, and/or chassis modifications. Class Designations and Indexes
Body: Experimental Production and Experimental Blown vehicles must retain stock full body exterior appearance. Extreme modifications which may drastically alter the appearance such as altered wheelbase, chopping, drooping, rescaling, etc. are not permitted. All body components such as roof, hood, doors, fenders, bumpers, etc. must remain in place. Replacement fiberglass and/or aluminum body components permitted. Doors must remain functional. Chassis: Chassis must remain relatively stock for the body being used. Suspension: Air bags may not be used to replace coil springs, leaf springs, or torsion bars. Engine: Any engine permitted. Interior: Must currently meet hosting facility's safety guidelines. Tires: Maximum measured tread width permitted is 14.5 inches. Tire tread is not allowed to protrude outward past the outermost portion of the wheel-well opening Electronics: Delay boxes are permitted with an incorporated weight handicap.
Modified Production is for vehicles maintaining engine and body makes of the same corporate manufacturers while being allowed generous suspension and chassis modifications. Modified Production (MP)/Blown Modified (BM)
Modified
Production is
reserved for vehicles which are or resemble those historically found in
competition in the traditional Super Stock Eliminator classes of the various Hot
Rod Associations. Blown Modified
is reserved for vehicles which are or resemble those historically found in
competition in the traditional Super Stock Eliminator classes of the various Hot
Rod Associations Note: While these classes have originally been created for the traditional Super Stock Eliminator vehicles currently competing in other organizations, the engine rules are far more relaxed. Maintaining "As Produced" specifications such as carburetor make and size, engine family and cubic inch, etc. are not of concern in this class. The primary intent of these classes is to provide class for those vehicles so meticulously built and maintained as to appear nearly completely stock or street worthy while not having gutted interiors and missing or altered (outside of class requirements) body and/or underbody parts. Body: Modified Production and Blown Modified vehicles must retain stock full body exterior appearance. Extreme modifications which may drastically alter the appearance such as altered wheelbase, chopping, drooping, rescaling, etc. are not permitted. All body components such as roof, hood, doors, fenders, bumpers, etc. must remain in place. Hood scoops permitted so long as they do not exceed a height of 8" above the plane of the hood. Stock appearing fiberglass and/or aluminum body components permitted. Doors must be fully functional with operational door windows. Wheel-well openings may be "stretched" or lengthened to accommodate taller tires so long as the stock body lines are fully maintained. Wheel-well openings may not be radiused, flared, or bubbled. Chassis: Chassis must remain relatively stock for the body being used. Narrowed sub-frames or frame portions and sub-frame connecting permitted. Suspension: Non-driving axle suspension systems must remain stock for the body being used.
Air bags may not be used to replace coil springs, leaf springs, or torsion bars. Engine: Engine must be of the same corporate manufacturer as that of the vehicle. bodied vehicles are permitted to interchange engines within those same listed manufacturers. Jeep bodied vehicles are permitted to use engines produced by Ford, American Motors, and Chrysler Corporation. Interior: Must retain full stock appearing interior. Rear passenger seats may be removed in favor of roll bar/roll cage installations. Upholstery or carpeting must continue the full interior appearance where the rear seat void is created. Tires: Maximum measured tread width permitted is 14.5 inches. Tire tread is not allowed to protrude outward past the outermost portion of the wheel-well opening Electronics: Delay boxes are permitted with an incorporated weight handicap.
Modified Stock is specifically for vehicles which fit an/or are currently running under the traditional Stock Eliminator guidelines. Modified Stock(MS)/Blown Stock(BS)
